Arna Rox and The Truckstops are an original blues band from Melbourne, Australia, led by fierce front woman Arna Rox.
Famous for her high energy, unpolished, unapologetic stage presence, Rox commands the space with her equally raw husky vocals. Rox is a force to be reckoned with. Having spent the past 7 years as lead singer of international rock band Trainwreck Trio, she now brings her wine soaked, tobacco fuelled vocals to the genre she was made for, the blues.
Following the release of their debut album, You Should Know, the Truckstops embarked on our first European tour in June 2017, where they toured festivals and bars across Austria & Germany, including the prestigious ‘Club Of Newchurch’ Festival. They then returned home to continue touring and promoting the album, for which they were nominated for ‘Best Emerging Act’ at The Melbourne Blues Awards. They continued the European tradition, touring again in 2018. 2019 saw their biggest tour yet: six months and five countries in Europe, including shows at legendary venues like Maloe Melo in Amsterdam and the Dublin Castle in London. The tour culminated in the Le Buis Blues Fest in France, where Arna Rox was dubbed the “revelation” of the whole festival! In addition to shows, You Should Know has been featured regularly on Kansas City Online Radio (KSOR), which streams to France, England, and the United States. And the Truckstops had a full page article written about them in Cologne’s leading newspaper, the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger!
